VENUES IN DURBAN
RAGE FESTIVAL 2020 COVID PROTOCOLS
VERY IMPORTANT INFO
*Please read this whole document – it provides you with all you need to know to successfully attend Rage Festival 2020 and return in 2021.
Welcome to Rage Festival 2020! We can’t wait to host you! Please work with us to keep you and us safe and mitigate the risk of COVID-19 infection. To be especially safe, please get yourself tested and only attend Rage 2020 if you are COVID-19 negative – we cannot encourage this enough!
Things are very different this year as we are sure you can understand. The COVID-19 response legislation has meant that we have had to create an extremely controlled, safe and compliant environment or have no festival at all. Please bear with us on this and understand that our number 1 priority was creating something great for you whilst being able to obtain city and the many department approvals. One of the measures included The Sound Factory being forced not to sell alcohol. We fought to overcome this imposed restriction with practical, logical and responsible solutions but our proposals were unfortunately rejected.
Given these limitations, we’d like to remind you that your 2020 Rage Passport also entitles you to attend Rage 2021 and enjoy the full Rage Festival experience again then. The 2020 program is still amazing and we’ve worked round the clock to keep adapting and bring you an incredible experience – let’s do our very best to enjoy it as much as possible together!
Your Rage Festival 2020 Passport gains you access to the following venues at the dates and times indicated below:
